Egbe Kilimanjaro's purpose is to increase the cultural awareness and appreciation of the arts through African and Caribbean drum and dance. We would like to entertain you with the exciting rhythms of West Africa, Cuba, Brazil, Haiti and America utilizing conga, djembe, bongo and talking drums handsomely flavored with shekere, cow bell, clave, berring bow, flute and xylophone sweetly inter-spaced with poetry, storytelling, call and response and audience participation.

The entertainment will incorporate a medley of song and dance routines from the decades of the 20th Century . . . beginning with 1920's - "The Charleston", 1930's - "Chicago", 1940's - "Swing" / "Jitterbug", 1950's - Beach / "Shag", 1960's - Motown, 1970's - Tina Turner and then back to beach music. Impeccable choreography and unbelievable musicianship for an unforgettable event complete with elaborate costume changes from each of the eras represented.
